Inside the app

A music world, in your pocket.

From the founder

I built COMP for my 16-year-old self. I was that kid who knew every song, every credit, every deep cut. I was obsessed with music in a way I felt like no one could understand.

Listening to music helped me find ways to express myself. It kept me company in my loneliest times.

I felt that if I could create an honest way to share myself through music, that act of vulnerability can connect me with others on the same wavelength as me.

That's way better than a social network.

— Trey Jennings, founder
